A Coping Blurb from Art
By Arthur Soissons-Segal, Ph.D. ~ Therapist and Brain Tumor Survivor
With Spring, Spring flowers pop up and look around. And I, with my neuropathy, wobble
around my pool tending to my plants with hope that I will not lose balance and fall into the
pool. Neuropathy symptoms are burning feet and poor balance. Despite the horrible pain
and precarious position, I greet each plant with a smile. My white poodle watches
cautiously and avoids getting too close to me. As I move along I keep in mind that
happiness and Karma are inside jobs.
