Martha Jones, Montana, notes:
I found this course validating, soothing and full of common-sense. I love to laugh and can find laughter in most all situations, even when the situation is not humorous in any shape or form That skill has always bothered me a bit. In learning the difference between laughter (which I seek and love) and humor (which I often find offensive), I have found I don't have to laugh 'cause I 'get it' I just get to laugh as I 'get through it'. How freeing that bit of truth is!
Ms. P., Australia, exclaims:
I used to hear people say laughter is medicine, and after completing this course I truly believe it. To be quite honest I had been going thru a little bit of depression and one of your techniques (laughing 10 minutes a day) is actually rebalancing me and starting to make me feel happier, lighten up and have much more energy. Thank you Lynn for coming up with such a GREAT idea such as a course like this, wouldn't have dreamed that there was a laughing course out there, you have opened my eyes, FANTASTIC!!!
Iris P., comments:
Hello Lynn - Just want to let you know how much I enjoyed your on-line laughter therapy course. I am a personal development trainer in Inverness, Scotland, working with people of all ages - employed and unemployed - and try to inspire, motivate and raise their self-esteem. I found you on the Internet during one of my many surf-sessions - and since then, after doing your course, I now always tell delegates at my workshops about you and what you do - and also about your book Tee Hee Moments. I round it off by getting them on their feet to create their own "tee hee moment" for the day. They love it - I play them a rousing piece of Strauss music and get them bobbing up and down in time to the music - laughing all the way - what a lovely time we all have! You are an inspiration! Thank you - just wanted to let you know that your "moments" are happening here in the Highlands of Scotland as well!

I enjoyed [this] e-course. The flow was easy to keep up with and the entire course was full of ideas, suggestions, recommendations, and pearls of wisdom. It has enlightened my journey and allowed me to express myself more fully. Thank You! Oh, I absolutely loved and enjoyed the animal pictures and laughs! I roared in laughter, how fun!!!
Cynthia, a massage therapist, comments:
I am enjoying your [Laugh Therapy] lessons tremendously as they will help me to be a better massage therapist for my patients and clients. Thank you for everything you do to make this world less stressful!
Jacki Kwan, LCSW-C Humor Therapist, says this about Shaw's course:
Lynn Shaw has invited us to use laughter, a gift we all have at our disposal, in our daily lives. She offers information, inspiration and instruction on how and why we need to accept and celebrate this gift.
Martha Jones, Montana, comments:
Through this course, I found new ways to celebrate my laughing nature. It validated my thoughts that laughter is a heart response to life and the curve balls life often throws at us. Without laughter, genuine and uninhibited, how very dreary our days would be.
Enda Junkins, author of Belly Laughter in Relationships, comments:
Laughter for the Healing Heart provides an effective overview of the healing power of laughter. It's perfect for people who want a brief, bullet point introduction to the rich world of Laughter Therapy. Hopefully, it will provoke further learning on the part of the reader as well as more laughter in his or her life.
Izzy Gesell, Humor and Creativity Coach, comments:
[Course contains] lots of interesting, motivating and useful stuff. Each bite-sized session contained just enough information and activities to be easily digested. The material was both practical and enjoyable.
Jean Kolp, RN and Clinical Coordinator of the Transitions Senior Behavioral Health Care Unit at Witham Health Services, notes:
Useful, insightful, life changing, set me on a new path, uplifting, thought provoking, helpful, practical, supportive.
As a nurse, I've seen first hand the healing value of laughter. Furthermore, studies show that laughter is good for you. It boosts the immune system and relives tension.
This course was outstanding! Lynn does a great job of educating people on the many benefits of laughter and guiding them towards embracing wellness through laughter and humor.
Lori Gillem, a Corporate Sales & Catering Mgr., comments:
I enjoyed the information provided in this course. It reminded me how easy it is to incorporate laughter into your life as well as how easy it is to overlook the opportunities of laughter, if you are not conscious about them. Although I did not always have the time to do the "lessons" so to speak, I read each one entirely and found myself later thinking about them and answering the questions or analyzing the thoughts presented. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to put laughter into their life and/or remind them of the importance of laughter in their lives!
I like the idea of getting one a week. It gives each person the opportunity to act out and/or ponder the thoughts being shared in their own time. We obviously live in a busy society and the opportunity to do this online at your leisure is a great benefit. Many who do not want or have the time to attend a class per se will gain great benefits online--in their own time.
If you’ve taken this course, kindly review this course here. We are grateful for this feedback!
